Terms and Conditions

Who we are and how to contact us regarding this website

This website (https://www.hnwis.scot/) is owned by Scottish Enterprise, Scotland’s main economic development agency, established as a non-departmental public body under the Enterprise and New Towns (Scotland) Act 1990 with principal office at Atrium Court, 50 Waterloo Street, Glasgow G2 6HQ (“SE”) and operated on behalf of SE by its procured supplier, Arup, 13 Fitzroy Street, London, W1T 4BQ, for the purposes of the Hydro Nation Water Innovation Service (HNWIS).

HNWIS is a programme that seeks to identify innovative Scottish companies, particularly SMEs and supports them along the innovation path to commercialisation with a view to creating and growing sustainable solutions for the wider global and wastewater sector.

The programme was established by the Scottish Government through Scottish Enterprise (SE) and Highland and Islands Enterprise (HIE), Scotland’s economic development agencies. SE along with its international arm Scottish Development International, will work with HIE and the Scottish Government, together with certain other key public-sector stakeholders, being The Scottish Environment Protection Agency, Scottish Water and The Scottish Funding Council, in connection with the programme. As part of such work, SE has agreed to take forward this website to provide a means for interested third parties to connect with the various support mechanisms which may be available to them under the programme.

You can also view information as to how SE works with suppliers and the other public-sector partners named above in relation to the programme in the HNWIS privacy notice. In particular, this sets out how any personal information you provide to us in connection with the programme or this site will be used, together with providing relevant contact details for any queries in such respect.
